Corporate and Social Responsibility
Interaction with local population
The project aims to be developed in the interest and with the participation of the local population. The consortium has implemented a Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) plan with key elements defined by the non profit ‘Waste Transformation for Energy (WT4E https://wt4e.com/ )’ specialized in implementing such programs in conjunction with a few local NGO’s.
This includes a pilot waste pre-collection project in a single village located in the peri-urban or rural area, with the aim of replicating the proven system in other peri-urban villages at a later stage. The main objective is to increase primary waste collection in rural villages by up to 75%, in view of constructing around a hundred additional Waste Collection Points (PRNs). The CSR budget are all secured and inserted in the project BP.
